Coles Coaches

The proprietors Jeff and Dorothy Cole purchased a school bus business in 1973 in Mortlake, Victoria, Australia. The operation comprised four school bus contracts and a depot.

In 1975, the first extended tour departed Mortlake on a camping safari to Packsaddle located in outback NSW. Travel was in a 1975 ex Australian Pacific Leyland coach. From here, Cole's Coaches started to venture more into touring Australia-wide, servicing the people from western Victoria who previously had limited opportunities to such experiences.

Established depot and booking office in 1982 in Warrnambool, Victoria.

Branched out further into extended tours taking safari and accommodated trips to outback Australia for both the domestic (predominantly western Victoria) and international markets.

Cole's Coaches also escorted people on tours abroad to places such as NZ, Africa, UK and Canada.

Cole's Coaches, a family business, with two sons now involved, currently have operations in Mortlake, Warrnambool, Colac and Anglesea with around 50 vehicles.

Cole's Coaches has a large range of vehicles to suit all markets from 11 seater mini-buses to five star 53 seater luxury touring coaches.

Cole's Coaches are fully accredited through Bus Association Victoria and all vehicles are carefully maintained by qualified mechanics.

The tour drivers are professional and friendly operators that are committed to ensuring that the best service is provided to the travelling public. Our tour cook / hostesses are chosen for their personalities and culinary skills providing the travelling public with happy faces at meal times.

The accredited booking office has staff that are friendly and helpful and do their utmost to meet the needs of a wide range of clientele including schools, universities, international students, local and State government bodies, sporting clubs, Seniors and Probus clubs and special interest groups.
