What is a public extended tour?
Public extended tours are tours that have been developed by Cole's Coaches and are available to the general public. These tours include one or more nights.How do I make a booking?

· Use the booking form for the specific tour chosen on this site.
You will need to provide which tour you are wanting to book on, the number of tickets required and your contact details. Cole's Coaches will then contact you to confirm your booking. Any weekend or public holiday bookings will be processed on the next business day. Bookings after hours will be processed the next business day.
Bookings can also be made through licenced travel agents that stock Cole's Coaches brochures.
Do I need to pay Cole's Coaches once a booking is made?
Yes, a deposit is required within a set period of time (refer to the specific tour conditions).Do cancellation fees apply?
Yes, cancellation fees do apply. Refer to specific tour conditions. Cole's Coaches recommend that all people take out travel insurance. Cole's Coaches have travel insurance product available.Payment details
Tours can be paid for in person at the Warrnambool office. The office is open Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm.Methods of payment accepted at the Cole's Coaches booking office include cash, cheques, EFTPOS and credit cards. Cheques are to be made payable to 'Cole's Coaches'. Cheques can also be sent by post to PO Box 77, Warrnambool, 3280. Please ensure that your name and the tour you have booked accompany the cheque.
Should you wish to pay on a Saturday morning, Harvey World Travel will accept cash payments only. Harvey World Travel is open from 10am to 12nn and is located at 118 Lava Street, Warrnambool (opposite Coles Supermarket).
What is included?
Inclusions differ for each tour, however they normally include your coach travel, accommodation, meals, attractions, and in some cases alternative transport such as flights.Can I be collected or dropped off at my place of residence?
On some extended tours Cole's Coaches can collect and drop-off people at their place of residence.What time do I need to be at the departure point for the tour?
It is recommended that you arrive at the departure point at least 20 minutes prior to the stated departure time.What do I need to bring?
Your receipt of payment is your ticket for the tour. If provided, please bring your travel wallets on the tour, as they will contain important and useful information.Since you are not driving, you can have a snooze in the comfortable, reclining seats and may wish to bring along a small pillow and blanket. Most of the coaches have cold drinking water available and are located at the rear of the vehicle near the restroom, however you may wish to bring your own water bottle.
Can I consume food and drink on board the coach?
Yes, however Cole's Coaches does not allow any hot food or drink on board the coach. This is due to smell it can create throughout the coach or also the safety aspect of spilling hot food or drink on another passenger. Bins are located on board for rubbish.Is the consumption of alcohol or smoking allowed on the vehicles?
The consumption of alcohol and smoking is not allowed on any of the vehicles.Can I reserve seats on board the coach?
Passengers rotate seats in the coach so that they enjoy forward and window seating. Your coach captain will arrange this at the start of the tour. People that book on the tour together will be seated with each other.Can I have a room to myself when staying in accommodation?
Yes, you can request a single room when staying in accommodation.Additional charges will apply and is known as a single supplement rate. Refer to the specific tour conditions.
Who do I share a room with if I am travelling by myself?
Cole's Coaches, in most cases, can match you up with a suitable person to share a twin room at no extra cost.What is the difference between a double and a twin-share room?
A double has a double bed for couples and a twin-share room usually has a double and a single bed.How safe is it travelling by coach?
Statistics show that coach travel is the safest form of land transport, safer than rail, and some 20 times safer than travel by private car. Do Cole's Coaches cater for specific dietary requirements?
Where meals are included in the cost, Cole's Coaches in most cases, can cater for specific dietary requirements. Advise the agent upon booking your seat.Is there disability / wheelchair access for boarding the coaches?
There are no lifts available on the coaches, however the coaches have a kneeling function where the vehicle lowers to allow easier access for people boarding the coach. Your coach captain will be on hand to assist. Front seats can be reserved for people with a disability. Wheelchairs can be stored underneath the coach.Is there parking available at the departure points?
Yes, there is parking available at the departure points. The departure point at Warrnambool has ample parking available.For longer periods it is recommended that you organise someone to transport you to the departure point, or alternatively, hire a taxi if you are not being collected from your place of residence.
